We ended up finding 2 dresses that we really like. Even though the store was filled with girls trying on prom dresses who also did not have appointments. She received the response «well do you have an appointment?» Embarrassed, my mother, who did not have a mother of the bride appointment, did not try on the dress. I had made an appointment for my 3 bridesmaids to try us dresses, but my mother who also came found a $ 700 dress she liked asked if she could try it on. The girls helping us had awful attitudes. They store new I was going to buy 3 dresses and was in the market for one mother of the bride. Came from out of state with an appointment to meet my bridesmaids for bridesmaid dresses. The store itself has beautiful dresses and a wide variety. I highly recommend buying your wedding dress from Diane at Stylish Impressions in Farmington! They also sell special occasion dresses and bridesmaids dresses.

Diane has owned this store for 15 years and clearly understands the business, the gowns, and how to make a bride feel special.

I was also incredibly surprised when I received a thank card (handwritten by Diane) in the mail a week after I purchased my gown. I also bought my wedding shoes! Diane is currently selling the shoes she has in the store for 50% off! I got these gorgeous leather bottom, silk and bling wedding shoes that cost $ 250 online for only $ 100!!! They match my dress perfectly. I ended up buying the dress that was similar to my original favorite! It was is so beautiful and should take about 5 – 6 months to come in (which is pretty fast for a wedding dress, especially the one I chose). She was incredibly friendly, patient, and not pushy, but was also willing to give her opinion when we needed guidance. She had my favorite dress that I had searched out ready to go and also showed me one that was very similar too. They have a ton of beautiful gowns to choose from! Diane, the owner, personally worked with me and was not phased by us picking out 8 dresses for me to try on. When we walked in and then saw the bridal section upstairs we were blown away. I brought along my parents, sister, niece, and friend. This store is fantastic! I came here 2 weeks ago because they had a dress I was very interested that I couldn’t find in any other store in Connecticut (an Allure Couture gown).
